David A. Sinclair
David A. Sinclair,
PH.D., A.o.
Professor of Genetics at Harvard Medical School and co-director of the Paul F. Glenn Center for the biological mechanisms of aging.
Pioneer in a particular field of aging that focuses on a class of molecules known as sirtuins

He become famous for his role in the discovery of a class of molecules that stimulate sirtuins.
He is doing some of the world's most groundbreaking work on human longevity.

He was named by the time magazine as one of the most influential people on the planet.
He wrote a new book: Lifspan, the revolutionary science of why we age and why we don't have to.

He set out to change fundamentally how we think of the inevitability of aging, and probably even death.
Recently, he made a surprising assertion: Scientific data reveals he kicked off his biological age for more than two decades.

He states that his daily regimen involves the ingestion of a molecule known as NAD booster, NMN, that his own research found improved health and increased mice's life span.

You will get all of his anti-aging secrets here, so you can do it by yourself.

What is his recipe?
THE SINCLAIR PROTOCOL
Disclaimer, there is no "Sinclair protocol". David only shares with us his discoveries, that he applies in his life and shares his lifestyle to live as long as possible. There is no indication/recommendation from him regarding the following.
This is what he puts into practice in his life and/or suggestions of healthy life for a long life expectancy.
Supplements
-
1 gram of NMN per day with water

-
500 mg of Trans Resveratrol in the morning with yogurt
-
500 mg of Trans Resveratrol in the evening with yogurt

-
1 gram of Metformin before sleep if he didn't exercise

Dosage not mentioned
-
TMG every day
-
Vitamin D3 with vitamin K2
David take the NMN with yogurt in the morning with the Resveratrol, but taking NMN with water is fine.
The bioavailability (body absorption) of Trans-Resveratrol is higher with fat. So that's why is taking with fat yogurt.
TMG as a precaution, because the Nad Booster can (there is no research on it) deplete methyl groups.
Metformin had show to be anti-aging and to prevent cancer, Alzheimer and heart disease.
David is taking Statin for prevention, due to a family history of high cholesterol (nothing to do with anti-aging).

Anti-aging and NMN

NMN has shown many good laboratory results in mice but has never been studied in humans.
A human study was done in 2019 that demonstrates the safety of the product.
Nutrition
Vegetables - a lot -

Very important part of his diet. Micronutrients (major groups of nutrients your body needs) and polyphenols are very important to fight back the stress (stress = aging)
Avoid Sugar and Carbs

He's keeping the carbs low for improving his body weight, lipids and blood pressure. So he tried to avoid them
Limiting meat intake

He limits his quantity of red meat (which is associated with heart disease), poultry and fish
Lifestyle
Fasting and intermitent fasting
are the best way to stay young and healthy

Exercice
20 min per day normal rythm
15 min, 2 or 3 times a week very intense

Cold / Hot
Take a hot shower and take 1 min of cold water

Stress
Reduce your level of stress with meditation

Sleep
Very important to have good night sleep. He's using the Oula ring to track his sleep

Level of sugar
Avoid peaks of sugar, keep the level low. He's using a patch with a device to measure his level of glucose in real time

Overweight / Obesity
It's a real problem - lose weight

Avoid cell damage
Avoid x-ray or too much sun.

Working in an office
Standing desk is a must

Happy people lives longer
